Recently, Entertainment Weekly reported that NBC announced plans to pick up its new series Kath & Kim for a full first season. This means nine more episodes for the lukewarm-rated series, which draws six million viewers weekly.
Big audience or not, the Molly Shannon and Selma Blair led comedy has kept 100 percent of the adult 18-49 audience from My Name is Earl for the last four weeks.
ABC added to the comedy pick ups by asking Samantha Who? back for seven episodes, rounding out a full second season. The show is the second most-watched comedy on Monday nights.
In other TV news, NBC has ordered a full season pick up for Knight Rider.
