The Roots' tour bus crashes in France, none seriously hurt

Much-loved hip-hopsters The Roots had a scary moment last night when their double-decker bus lost control and landed on top of a van while in Paris. ?uestlove described the crash in an e-mail to their label, Okayplayer:

"next thing i knew was the most surreal feeling ever....

was i upside down?

why am i covered in cereal?

oh shit....that coffee pot is coming for my face!!!

in reality the crash was all of about 7 seconds....but to do a 360 on the highway and end up ramped up (the van that crashed into ours was UNDER our double decker bus) in the air....is....well..."

The Roots bus has crashed at least once before, on an Okayplayer tour in 2000. All of the group is reported to be fine—something ?uestlove appreciates as "a frigging miracle":

"how did we manage to....man.....

dog we are soooo alive right now."
