For all the talk of that Laurentian Abyss and all those Sector 7 classified secrets, there's some real noise making the rounds about our favorite Autonomous Robotic Organisms from the planet Cybertron. Transformers are set to make theme park gold as Universal plans to install Transformers: The Ride at both its Hollywood and Singapore parks.
Primed for an early 2011 debut, the ride will reportedly feature High Definition 3-D footage, some practical special effects, and all the stunning robotics you could sell an Allspark on eBay for. The ride will be based on Michael Bay's adaptation, but there's no word yet on the attraction's storyline or even which film it might follow. It's no hyperspace starscream to imagine that it will feature a battle between Autobots and Decepticons.
