Battlestar Galactica Review:
"The Face of the Enemy" (Webisode Part 3)

It's almost silly to think that a two-minute-and-42-second webisode would contain a flashback (or that I would spend more than three minutes reviewing it), but this is Battlestar Galactica, dammit. Someday there will be college courses just on that wordless flashback scene and the mysterious paper that changes hands.

We learn in Part 3 of "The Face of the Enemy" that Gaeta knew one of the Number Eight Cylons back on New Caprica. We also learn that this web series is essentially an Agatha Christie mystery in space. A Number 8 was killed in the oxygen scrubber with faulty pliers by...? The first murdur occurs in Part 3, but if you were paying attention before you started the video, the synopsis teased spoilers aplenty:

"The action continues with a gripping 10 part web series of Battlestar Galactica. 'The Face Of The Enemy' is filled with astonishing revelations you won't see on the show. Lieutenant Gaeta is sent off in a raptor with a handful of strangers when one of them mysteriously dies. The psychological human vs. Cylon struggle ensues in the restrictive confines of a raptor as everyone is a suspect and paranoia sets in among the group. One by one more passengers die under puzzling circumstances and those remaining must ask themselves if a Cylon is responsible for the deaths, or if it is one of their own — a human."

So the crew is going to start dropping like flies. Good thing for actress Grace Park that she plays hundreds of different Number Eights because I have a feeling a second one is going to be the last to die before Gaeta floats off into space. And the rest of the cast might as well just put on their red Star Trek shirts and prepare to meet their gods.
