Martin Scorsese has long put out a movie every couple of years, and given the rate his queue has been filling up lately, his twilight years look to be no less prolific. According to Production Weekly, he’s now attached to direct Falcon’s Tale, a new film based on an unpublished book optioned by Paramount.
/Film discovered the movie would be adapted from the book, apparently inspired by
an article in Playboy, about a convicted drug dealer who cut a deal
to be placed undercover in a prison for the insane to discover the
whereabouts of a serial killer’s victims. The book is set to be
published next fall.
Scorsese is currently in post-production on his adaptation of Dennis Lehane's
Shutter Island, his first fiction film since his famously overdue Oscar triumph last year. He has many, many more movies also in development.
