In October, Bruce Springsteen premiered the title song of his new record, Working on a Dream, at a Barack Obama rally in Ohio. A few weeks later, we got a partial preview of the album version during a "Sunday Night Football" halftime highlight reel. Now, the Boss has put out another teaser for the Jan. 27 release, in conjunction with MySpace Music and Amazon.com.
Starting yesterday, "My Lucky Day" is available for free perusal on MySpace, and for download on Amazon. The two organizations joined together for their first collaboration with streaming video to exclusively debut the "My Lucky Day" music video, which comes with two extra minutes of behind-the-scenes footage. But fans had better hurry, as these pre-release goodies will only be open to the public for a week.
Working on a Dream will drop via Columbia in Jan. '09, and features Springsteen's E Street Band, as well as the production talents of Brendan O'Brien (it's the pair's fourth album together). For more info, visit Springsteen's MySpace or his Amazon store, where you can pre-order the disc for $9.99.
