The 2009 Telluride Bluegrass Festival has announced the line-up for its 36th annual incarnation, which will include Emmylou Harris, Elvis Costello, Sam Bush, Kasey Chambers and many more.
Each year, the TBF, presented by Planet Bluegrass, brings some of the best acts in bluegrass to the mining town of Telluride, tucked into the San Juan mountains in Southwestern, Colo. Tickets for camping and the festival are now on sale online or by phone at 800-624-2422. A limited number of four-day passes at discounted rates are also available.

The festival is built around the many artists that have defined the Telluride Bluegrass sound. The weekend is sprinkled with inspired sets from Peter Rowan, John Cowan, Sam Bush Band, Béla Fleck. Del McCoury returns to Telluride to celebrate his 50th year in the music industry. Yonder Mountain String Band celebrates their 11th year; Leftover Salmon celebrates their 20th year as a band - a band that formed in the Town Park campground jams of Telluride Bluegrass.
This summer marks the 20th Anniversary of our Rocky Mountain Folks Festival (August 13-15). Our "summit on the song" continues to celebrate stories and songs with this year's lineup The Swell Season, Ani DiFranco, Richard Thompson, Greg Brown, Marc Cohn, Jenny Lewis, and many more.
