Conor Oberst announces spring shows

Sometimes it's just nice to go home. And after spending nearly three months touring the world last summer and fall in support of his solo album, Conor Oberst is doing just that.

Oberst and his gang of hirsute backing musicians, also known as The Mystic Valley Band, will kickoff a handful of U.S. tour dates in his hometown of Omaha in early April. This comes after the release of 2008's Conor Oberst, the album he recorded with The Mystic Valley Band at a makeshift studio during his month-long stay in Tepoztlán, Morales, Mexico last winter.

Tickets go on pre-sale tomorrow, Jan. 27.

10 - Denver, Colo. @ The Ogden Theater
11 - Aspen, Colo. @ Belly Up
12 - El Paso, Tex. @ Barnett Harley Davidson
13 - Albuquerque, N.M. @ Sunshine Theater
14 - Tempe, Ariz. @ Marquee Theater
