Heartless Bastards go on tour to support new album

January 29, 2009  |  9:37am
Strange, isn't it? A band from Ohio on a 31-date tour, and...no Ohio dates. What's up with that? Sure, they're probably all tired of playing in the Buckeye state by now, but still. Cincinnati trio Heartless Bastards will release its third album, The Mountain, on Feb. 3. Beginning tomorrow (Jan. 30), the band will hit the road until late April, including a three-day stint at Austin's SXSW.

Other acts scattered about the dates include Andrew Bird, Gaslight Anthem and fellow-Ohioans The Black Keys.

Look for a review of The Mountain in Paste 50, on newsstands now. In the meantime, take a listen to "The Mountain."
