Leonard Cohen plans first U.S. performance in 15 years
It's been a long, long wait for fans of the legendary Canadian troubadour Leonard Cohen—at least in the U.S.
After riding the wave of his induction into the 2008 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and touring Europe this past summer, Cohen—master of melancholy and literary-based tunes—announced he will
perform at The Beacon Theatre in New York City on Feb. 19. That means
approximately 2,800 fans will get to see Cohen's first U.S. performance
in 15 years. As for the rest of you, well, you're just going to have to wait
your turn.
Tickets go on sale Friday (Jan. 16) at 9 a.m.
