Paste presents: The music of R.E.M. at Carnegie Hall

This March, your humble servants here at Paste, along with Champagne Henriot, Q104.3 and WFUV 90.7 are presenting an evening of R.E.M.'s music. Twenty artists will be covering songs from the catalog of Athens' finest.

The evening's full line-up can be found here. Fellow Athens-rockers Elf Power will be holding court, along with The Feelies, The Apples in Stereo, Kimya Dawson, Patti Smith, Guster and a host of others. Calexico will be taking the reins as house band for the evening.

Proceeds from the show benefit music education charities like Mr Holland's Opus. The show starts 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 11 at Carnegie Hall in New York. Tickets are available here, or by calling 212-247-7800.
