The Hold Steady & The War On Drugs tour the U.S. in April

Literary rockers The Hold Steady will team up with The War On Drugs and tour the U.S. in April in support of its fourth album, Stay Positive.

After completing the album in early 2008 and spending some time in the U.K. playing festivals and touring during the rest of 2008, the Brooklyn-based band will complete a leg of its tour in Australia and then travel east to New York to begin those performances. The Hold Steady will spend some time in the Midwest before culminating the tour in Sacramento, Calif. at the end of April.
