The battle for Watchmen finally ends

Watchmen fans, rejoice! The film will hit theaters as planned on March 6. Warner Bros. and 20th Century Fox have reached an agreement about the rights to one of the most celebrated graphic novels of all time.

Nearly a year ago, Fox sued Warner Bros. over copyright infringement. Allegedly, Fox had a previous agreement with producer Larry Gordon, before the rights to the movies were acquired by Warner Bros. The $130 million film's future was grim as the fight for the distributor rights did not seem to come to an end, and the release date quickly approached. The settlement details have not being released at this time, but it has been reported that Fox will receive a percentage of the box-office profit.
