Wilco talks Ashes of American Flags live DVD

For a dude singularly possessed by self-loathing, Jeff Tweedy sure has been keeping busy these days. In between recording sessions for their upcoming LP, Wilco has been cobbling together its first concert DVD, Ashes of American Flags.
The DVD, due out in advance of the band's next album, contains footage of performances at the Tulsa Cain Ballroom and Nashville Ryman Auditorium from Wilco's most recent tour. As for what comes after, a recent newsletter promised a few U.S. shows in April and a tour of Spain in May, followed by "the usual summer hijinks with a new record and gigs everywhere imaginable."

Chin up, Tweedy! Even if you don't like your work, we do. Ashes of American Flags is due out in February/March on Nonesuch.
