Bob Saget's Surviving Suburbia to get a second chance

Bob Saget's Surviving Suburbia to get a second chance

Everywhere you look, Bob Saget is swearing a blue streak. He may soon have something other than lewd jokes about the Olsen Twins to round out his career, though: a return to the network that gave him his start.

ABC is currently negotiating the acquisition of Saget's defunct sitcom Surviving Suburbia. Originally planned for a Spring 2009 release on the CW television network, the network terminated its contract with Suburbia's producers, leaving it and several other shows in limbo. If ABC goes ahead with the deal, it'll be Saget's first time on the network since his (now slightly creepy) turn as Danny Tanner on Full House.
