Lesbian Vampire Killers debuts at Austin's Fantastic Fest

Lesbian Vampire Killers debuts at Austin's Fantastic Fest

As a result of the dangling modifiers in the title, you may be wonder if Lesbian Vampire Killers is about: a) lesbians who kill vampires b) vampire killers who also happen to be lesbians or c) killers of lesbian vampires. While the third is the proper interpretation, no matter which you chose you can be certain that this Brit comedy isn't Shaun of The Dead but will still attract legions of male viewers.

The film will have its worldwide debut and two late night showings at the South By Southwest Film Festival's Fantastic Fest. Early reviews of the film from test viewers have revealed that the horror comedy is neither very horrific nor extremely comedic, and if the trailer is any indication, you can bet that these reports are true. Although, for a B-movie parody the production value looks pretty high on this one.

Despite mixed reviews, will people still attend a movie about lesbian vampires and the two buddies that have to kill them? We'll just have to wait and see, it appears. James Corden and Matthew Horne of the British comedy Gavin and Stacey star alongside MyAnna Buring (The Descent).
