Cursive writes home to Mama

Who says rock is only for the 30-and-under set? Not Cursive or its longtime label, Saddle Creek, either. They'll be releasing Mama, I'm Swollen, the band's seventh album, on March 10.

Creeksters call the follow-up to 2006's Happy Hollow an album that both your punk kid sister and English lit grad student can dig. They also mention the album deals with the issue of Peter Pan Syndrome while still being the band's smartest and most sophisticated album to date. We shall see.

In other news, if you're looking for something a little less brooding and a little more experimental, Saddle Creek will also be releasing Beep Beep's newest and awesomely eccentric album, Enchanted Islands, on March 24.

Mama, I'm Swollen tracklisting:

1. In the Now
2. From the Hips
3. I Couldn't Love You
4. Donkeys
5. Caveman
6. We're Going to Hell
7. Mama, I'm Satan
8. Let Me Up
9. Mama, I'm Swollen
10. What Have I Done
