Lebowski Fest rolls into year eight

Lebowski Fest rolls into year eight

There are very few situations where it's appropriate to wear a robe, guzzle White Russians with no remorse and throw rocks all day long. Precious few, in fact. But don't lose hope: a place exists where all this and more is welcomed with open arms.

In two-day increments, achievers from across North America will gather to celebrate all things Lebowski at the eighth annual Lewbowski Fest, which kicks off in Los Angeles on May 7 with a screening at the Wiltern Theatre.

From its humble beginnings in Louisville, Ky., eight years ago, the fest has expanded into a 16-city circus of self-indulgence honoring the Coen Brothers' 1998 cult film. Stops along the way include Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, San Diego, Las Vegas, Austin, Minneapolis, Chicago, Toronto, Boston Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and New York.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 6.
