Bob Dylan's Together Through Life drops April 28

The surprise is over. After keeping mum throughout the recording process, Columbia Records has announced that Bob Dylan's new album, Together Through Life, will be released April 28. The semi-secretive album was recorded last year and produced by Jack Frost (cough, cough: Dylan himself).

Together Through Life marks the 46th release by the prolific songwriter and the first since 2006's Modern Times.

Dylan will be touring overseas starting March 22, but he'll definitely be back in time for western Michigan's Rothbury Festival where he'll join The Dead, Willie Nelson, Broken Social Scene and many more from July 2-5.
