David Lynch nabs Ringo, Paul, more for concert benefit
David Lynch turns enough heads just by being David Lynch (Twitter also helps these days), but his emphatic devotion to “transcendental meditation” over the years has occasionally threatened to take him from the king of good-weird to just weird.
It would seem Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Eddie Vedder and Moby don’t share those concerns, because they’ve all agreed to
perform at a benefit concert for the David Lynch Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education and World Peace. (Eh, at least it mentions world peace, right?)
Courtesy of Idolator, we can report that anyone with $25,000 sitting around can get a pretty sweet concert and after-party package. The concert is April 4 in New York.
