Deastro announces debut album Moondagger, tour dates

Former Paste Artist Of The Week, Deastro, has announced the release of Moondagger, its debut LP on June 25, as well as a slew of tour dates.

Moondagger expands on Deastro's home-recorded electro-pop Keeper's—this time with a full band. Randolph Chabot, the 22-year-old behind the music, says that the title comes from a dream that he had involving a prince, an evil King of Darkness and a search for the mythical Moondagger, which gives ultimate power to whoever possesses it. Um, sure, why not?
