Ida Maria drops album March 24 via Mercury Records

Ida Maria, Paste's favorite spastic Norwegian performer, has an exciting few months ahead of her. The singer-songwriter, whose hit single "I Like You So Much Better When You're Naked," landed #13 on the national charts, has signed her debut album Fortress Round My Heart to Mercury Records. The label will drop a digital version of the album on March 24.

In addition to her releases, Maria will be touring the U.S. over the next few weeks and stopping to sport her head-banging, heel-kicking stage presence at SXSW. Tour dates are listed below for the little lady who landed on our Best of 2008.
