Our Little Honey never fails to give us a warm, fuzzy feeling inside, and her latest stint, offering a discount on her merchandise for ticket-buying fans, has us happy once again.
To be more specific (and less mushy), Lucinda Williams has set up a deal for concert-going fans: Each person who attends one of her shows in 2009 will receive a $7 credit on clothing or a $5 discount on CDs. This credit will also be extended to her online store from April 1 to July 31, and is intended to help make up for Ticketmaster's unwieldy fees.
The country queen had this to say in a statement: "I cannot, in good conscience, sit back and watch my fans get blatantly gouged. I understand that this may only be a small gesture and in no way solves the problem long term, but I feel that it is important to try and do something to make it a little easier during this time."
See why we love her so?
