Is this hello or goodbye for Michael Jackson? After a lengthy hiatus from the public glare, the pop legend has recently announced a 10-date run of performances at London's O2 Arena in July that may be his last.

"This is it. I just want to say that these will be my final show performances in London," he told fans during a press conference..."This will be it. When I say this is it, it really mean this is it."

If this is, in fact, it, at least he will be going out with a bang. With tickets ranging from £50 to £75 and a venue capacity of 20,000, Jackson is expected to bring in more than $50 million from the big-budget, highly-technical show that he is rumored to be putting together.

"Michael Jackson is a perfectionist, so it's going to be amazing," Randy Phillips, chief promoter of AEG Live, told BBC News. "He'll try a lot of new things."

Apparently, AEG has a "broader relationship" with Jackson than the artist let on in the press conference. Phillips added that the 3 1/2-year plan with Jackson might involve a new 3D film based on Thriller, as well as future concerts.

Tickets for Jackson's appearances at O2 go on pre-sale March 13.
