Mickey Rourke and Scarlett Johansson in for Iron Man 2
By now, it’s become a little tiresome to report Iron Man 2 rumors, but Nikki Finke says that the long-expected deals are done (if not announced yet) for Mickey Rourke and Scarlett Johansson to join the cast of the psycho-hyped sequel.
Johansson will play Black Widow, which we parsed here. (She replaced Emily Blunt, who dropped out because of other commitments.) Signed to play a villain, Rourke seemed like a sure thing, other than some salary issues that were apparently worked out in his favor.
Once again directed by Jon Favreau, Iron Man 2 is expected to open May 7, 2010.
