Dates for New Orleans' Voodoo Experience announced

Sometimes, for whatever reason, things just align perfectly. Such is the case with New Orleans' Voodoo Experience, which for the third time in its 11-year history will coincide with Halloween weekend, Oct. 30, 31 and Nov. 1.

The three-day festival celebrating the city's culture, arts and cuisine (not to mention great music) is set in the scenic City Park. Last year more than 130 acts including Lil Wayne, Nine Inch Nails, Stone Temple Pilots, R.E.M. performed on the festival's eight stages.

No lineup has been announced yet, but be sure to check back in the coming months.
