Pitchfork announces 2009 festival dates

With announced line-ups for Bonnaroo and Sasquatch, Pitchfork Music Festival better be ready to ante up. The three-day music festival announced July 17-19 as its 2009 dates and for the fourth year in a row, Chicago's Union Park will be once again the playground for the festival.

Previous lineups have included Vampire Weekend, Band of Horses, the Decemberists, The Hold Steady, Fleet Foxes, Bon Iver, Animal Collective, Andrew Bird, Girl Talk The National and Grizzly Bear. While you wait for that line-up info, check out our coverage from last year's Pitchfork Fest.
