Warner may want Terminator Salvation trimmed to PG-13

How much work can really be left to do on Terminator Salvation? We learned last week that Linda Hamilton is still in talks to lend her voice to the movie, and some of the music is apparently also up in the air—all this for a major-budget movie set to open in less than three months.

McG, the movie's director, fueled further drama this weekend when he revealed efforts by Warner Bros. to cut a scene to secure a PG-13 rating, even though he said in the past that the film would get whichever rating he sees fit. /Film reports that the director called out a Warner Bros. executive by name who wants to remove a scene with a topless woman, ostensibly to earn a PG-13. All three earlier Terminator movies were R rated.

At this point, the report is mostly rumor, but fans will inevitably be on the case. In the meantime, check out the rock-heavy new trailer for the movie released yesterday:
