Sacha Baron Cohen uses fake companies to back Brüno

Brüno (AKA: Sacha Baron Cohen) is at it again. To back his interviews for the titular character's movie, Cohen created more than 30 fake companies with fake websites to boot. The websites began mysteriously disappearing a few days ago, including four fake production company sites, according to the MTV Movies Blog.

The ever-sneaky Cohen allegedly utilized fake companies as fronts to fool people and trick them into being in the film. Potential interviewees would be sent to these websites, but they would be deleted before they reached them. According to the Smoking Gun, records show that more than two dozen fake firms were created during production (check out the list here).

The disappearance of these websites may indicate that the production for the movie is almost finished. After being bumped to July from its original May 15 date, there is still a little while to wait before we watch the fabulous Brüno, mesh shirt and all, make insecure heterosexual men throughout America thoroughly uncomfortable.
