Santigold announces tour, records with Beasties, Byrne

Santigold has kept busy since the release of her debut album, Santogold, almost a year ago. From dropping the "o" from her name to touring extensively, Santigold is not stopping any time soon. Before heading back to the studio to record a follow-up to her successful debut album, the Philadelphia dance queen is ready to bring the party once again throughout North America this Spring.

She will be festival hopping all summer long from Sasquatch! to Bonnaroo, along with tour openers Trouble Andrew and Amanda Blank. Santigold will perform with a full band and dancers for the first time.

While preparing for her month-long tour, Santigold also returned to the studio to make guest appearances on the Beastie Boys' and David Byrne's new albums and record new tracks with Pharrell, according to Billboard.
