Shakori Hills Spring Festival returns in April

In case you haven't noticed, some of the smaller music festivals are still going down and aren't in in shambles. One such event is the Shakori Hills Grassroots Festival of Music and Dance, now in its seventh year.

Taking place in Silk Hope, N.C., the festival will run April 16-19, and feature more than 40 artists, hosting the likes of Justin Townes Earle, Ralph Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys, The Horse Flies, Todd Snider and others, including local acts. Donna the Buffalo, who played the festival last October, will also be performing.

More info can be found at the official Shakori Hills website.
