St. Vincent becomes Actor, tours

It looks like St. Vincent (née Annie Clark) is going to have a busy spring. The Texas-bred musician is set to release her second album, Actor, on May 5 via 4AD, but first she'll stop in Austin, Texas to preview songs from the album at SXSW. Clark will perform at 11 p.m. on March 18 at the 4AD showcase at Central Presbyterian Church and at midnight on March 20 at the Billions showcase at Antone's.

Clark will barely have time for a breather before she sets out on her headlining tour in support of Actor. The charmingly spooky singer will spend a month on the road criss-crossing the country and hitting up hot spots like Sasquatch and Bonnaroo.
