Bumbershoot festival announces initial 2009 line-up

Although it's a gray (and snowy, if you're in Seattle) April in many parts of the country, the minds behind Bumbershoot have started planning for their sunny September festival. A partial line-up has been disclosed, which, so far, includes Modest Mouse, Sheryl Crow, Katy Perry and De La Soul are a few of the major highlights.

Through Friday, Aug. 21, three-day passes for $80 will be available at Bumbershoot.org, and thereafter for $120. Tickets for specific days will be available July 21, and are priced at $35 until Aug. 21. Day passes will be $50 after that.

A complete line-up, as well as a schedule of days, times and venues is forthcoming. The line-up as it has been announced so far is available below.
