Jenny Lewis tours into the Summer

When indie darling Jenny Lewis dropped her solo debut a few years back, we took notice, handing out a spot to the Rilo Kiley frontlady on our Top 100 Albums of 2006 list. There were mixed opinions in the office, however, when she released her follow-up, Acid Tongue, last fall. Now that Lewis has announced an extensive list of 2009 tour dates, running from April until July, maybe she'll be able to settle the score once and for all with her live show.

After playing several dates in Australia at the end of March and the beginning of April, Lewis kicks off a long string of U.S. appearances starting in Hawaii, followed by dates in cities including Sacramento, Portland, Chicago, Boston, St. Louis, Omaha, Dallas, Pittsburgh and Salt Lake City. Along the way, she'll also play the Coachella, Bonnaroo and Telluride Bluegrass festivals.
