Massive Lineup Announced for 2009 Roskilde Festival

Denmark's 2009 Roskilde Festival will take place July 2-5, with the final lineup featuring about 175 acts from around the world.

Line-up highlights include Coldplay, Nine Inch Nails, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Lily Allen, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Fleet Foxes, White Lies, ...Trail of Dead, Ida Maria, The Mars Volta, M. Ward and The Pains of Being Pure at Heart.

The Roskilde Festival was founded in 1971 by two students and is held in the former medieval capital of Denmark. Each year, profits from festival go toward humanitarian causes; this year, with DanChurchAid, they're working to assist victims of violent climate change in India and Bangladesh.
