Anointed indie auteur Sofia Coppola has finally settled on her first project since 2006, Somewhere, a comedy-drama set to follow a tabloid-regular actor (Stephen Dorff) whose life is shaken by the arrival of his 11-year-old daughter (Elle Fanning).
As with Lost in Translation, the movie will take place largely in a hotel—this time the Chateau Marmont in L.A., Variety reports. Coppola made her feature debut in 2000 with The Virgin Suicides and has followed with another film every several years.
Somewhere will film this Summer.
