Wanted 2 coming to a theater near you

Despite being limited by the graphic novel's original story, Wanted is primed to return with a whole new storyline and in Wanted 2. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Pooh’s Heffalump Movie's Evan Spiliotopoulos has been tapped to help flesh out a new storyline, something that might prove as a challenge, since most of the characters died in the first film.

Don't let the Pooh mislead you, though; Spiliotopoulos recently adapted Dave Roman’s graphic novel, Agnes Quill, which will be released through Paramount Pictures, giving him some experience in the subject matter.

Marc E. Platt and Jim Lemley come back as producers for the sequel, with Timur Bekmambetov returning as director. No word if James McAvoy or any of the original cast will return for the new film, though.
