I'd like to offer up a curve ball: Bringing It All Back Home/Highway 61 came out a mere 5 months and 8 days apart, so are a de facto double album. Indeed stylistically they're as closely linked as any two dylan albums you can name. Ever find that you're looking for something fast to throw on the headphones while working out, so you go clicking through your iPod looking for Bob Dylan's 115th Dream on Highway 61??? It's happened to the best of us, believe me. And adding up the two albums' current polling totals produces 23%, winning by a hair at this point. This also would've eliminated the need for Blonde on Blonde to be a double album, thus making its purchase much more economical (they could've squeezed, oh, 3 more songs on the side with Sad-Eyed Lady of the Lowlands). Think that over! lol

Grace Woodroofe’s voice calls to mind Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone and Etta James—maybe even the weighty, raspiness of Tom Waits. Certainly not a 22-year-old singer/songwriter from Perth, Australia. more
