Wolverine to Have Multiple After-Credits Endings

In an apparent bid to counter potential lost revenue from its infamous web leak, X-Men Origins: Wolverine director Gavin Hood has revealed that the final print of the movie will carry at least two different “hidden” endings after the credits.

Such after-the-credit sequences are common in franchise movies, especially comic-book titles, as a nod toward the future of the series for fans. According to /Film, at least one of the endings features the character Deadpool.

Gimmickry aside, Wolverine opens Friday in what many consider the official start of Hollywood’s summer season. Most pundits expect that despite the leak, the movie will open near $100 million.
