Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs Join Green Day on Tour

As the release of their eighth album 21st Century Breakdown tomorrow, May 15, approaches, Green Day is already gathering the openers for their massive Summer tour. Kaiser Chiefs and Franz Ferdinand are joining the rock trio on the road throughout late-July and August. No opener has been announced for the beginning leg of the North American tour.

Franz Ferdinand is currently touring in support of their third album, Tonight: Franz Ferdinand throughout the U.S. and is gearing up for the June 1 release of its follow-up, Blood, a remixed version of Tonight. As for the Kaiser Chiefs, they are currently touring Europe and Asia in support of their 2008 release, Off With Their Heads.
