It's the kind of thing you hate to hear. L.A. trio Gliss reported Wednesday morning their touring van had been broken into. Lead vocalist Martin Klingman expressed his sadness in the band's MySpace blog:
"My grandfather gave me a '70s Fender P Bass years ago when I was a wee
lad. I don't care about the money," Klingman says. "The sentimental value of that
bass which was stolen last night will never be replaced. Along with the
bass, we also had our line mixer, compressor, flight case, microphones,
DIs, cables, several bags, tour shirts, and last but not least our new
album...Devotion Implosion. I guess that sums it up."
Our thoughts are with the members of Gliss in this tough time.
