Jack White's Third Man Records Releases Three 45s

Jack White is a multi-band kind of man. First it was the garage-rocking White Stripes, then it was The Raconteurs, and now it's a brand-new experiment: The Dead Weather. But that's not all White has on his resume. He also helms Third Man Records, which celebrated its new digs in Nashville recently with the live debut of White's new band. To be sure your Jack-White-o-meter goes off the charts, Third Man announced even more recently the release of three White-produced singles on 7-inch vinyl from Rachelle Garniez, Mildred and the Mice and The Dead Weather.

In fact, there's a bit of bargain if you go for the whole trifecta. For a "limited time only," you can buy all three singles online for $15. But wait, there's more! If you buy them from Third Man Records HQ in Nashville at 623 7th Avenue South, you can get extra-pretty, tri-color vinyl copies, of which there are only 100 in total. (Scroll on down the Third Man Records homepage for a very intense photo of White displaying one of the 45's, which he designed.) Sorry folks, no stripes.

The three singles available are:

The Dead Weather - "Treat Me Like Your Mother" b/w "You Just Can't Win"
Mildred and the Mice - "I Like My Mice (Dead)" b/w "Spider Bite"
Rachelle Garniez - "My House of Peace"

As for The Dead Weather, you can expect their debut album Horehound out July 14.
