Kung Fu Panda Franchise Heading to a TV Near You
With a sequel in the works and due out in 2011, DreamWorks is hoping to extend the life of the Kung Fu Panda franchise a little bit longer. With the success of the Madagascar's Penguins TV show, The Penguins of Madagascar, Nickelodeon has jumped on the boat once again and has ordered 26 episodes of the simply-named, Kung Fu Panda: The Series.
Currently, Jack Black is working on Gulliver's Travels alongside Emily Blunt and Jason Segel, but will be joining Angelina Jolie on the 3D sequel, centered around Po once again and his journey to mastering the art of Kung Fu. There are no details on when the show will air or what the storyline of the characters will be.
