Martin Scorsese Finally Confirmed for Sinatra Biopic

It's hard to understand when Martin Scorsese finds time to sleep. Currently, the director has more than three projects on his queue waiting for him to bring them to life. One project that has been sitting in the back burner for a while is the Frank Sinatra biopic, but things are about to change. Scorsese has officially signed on to the film simply named Sinatra.

As we previously reported (one year ago almost to the day, no less), Sinatra's daughter, Tina Sinatra, let it slip that Scorsese was interested in signing on to the project, but he was not officially on board. The project already acquired all the permissions necessary for the music, an impossible task on itself, Tina will be executive producer and the screenplay is being written by Field of Dreams writer/director Phil Alden Robinson. All they need now is for Scorsese to say when.
