Paste Tweets the Indie Rock ABCs

We found a new use for Twitter today, as we began republishing the entirety of An Indie Rock Alphabet Book, 140 characters at a time. Beginning with A for Animal Collective, we'll hit a different letter—and band—each day through June 17. Sure, it's no Moby Dick or Alice in Wonderland, but then again, we're not leaving it up to a bot to Tweet.

Originally published late last year, the book was written by three Paste staffers—Caren Kelleher (@ckexplainsitall), Kate Kiefer (@katekiefer) and Rachael Maddux (@rachaelmaddux) and illustrated by owen the owen.The book can also be viewed in PDF form for you old-school new-media types or purchased in the ancient form of printed paper.
