Listen to Phoenix's New Album, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, on Myspace

First, an appearance on Saturday Night Live, then a song featured on The Hills. What's the next marketing move for the French indie/electro outfit Phoenix: themed coffee mugs of their upcoming release Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix? Well... yes.

In addition to television spots (and kitchen ware), the band is getting its music out social-network style, allowing fans to hear the new album on its MySpace page.

The quartet's fourth studio album will be released worldwide May 25 and in the U.S. May 26. The band recently released a video for second single, "1901,"  directed by Dylan Byrne and Ben Strebel (a.k.a. Bogstandard).

Phoenix is currently on a worldwide tour which includes stops at Bonnaroo and Austin City Limits.
