A salon owner in St. Louis instantly became the envy of countless teenage girls around the country recently when she found the script to Twilight's sequel, New Moon. Casey Ray discovered the New Moon script along with the screenplay for Memoirs in the trash outside her building.
Despite the fact that she considered selling them, the woman did the right thing and returned both screenplays to Summit Entertainment, who in return invited her to both premieres. The details of how the scripts ended up in the trash are still a (rather inexplicable) mystery, but all fingers point to Anna Kendrick who is in both movies. However, her publicist denied that the actress would leave the scripts lying around carelessly.
After the exit of director Catherine Hardwicke from the Twilight series and the endless search for a director for New Moon, the sequel seems to have overcome yet another obstacle. Bella Swan and Edward Cullen will reunite later this year on Nov. 20 with Golden Compass's director Chris Weitz behind the camera.
