the Facebook movie, The Social Network

News: Yes, really: Aaron Sorkin to write Facebook movie
Fincher, of course, is known for bleak, violent thrillers, though The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
gave him a well-publicized taste of studio prestige moviemaking. Oddly enough, that seems to be what Columbia has in mind for this movie, which will focus on the founding of the Facebook empire.
If the contracts are inked as expected, production would start later this year.
