Hard times are here to stay, and it seems like everyone but you is getting a handout, doesn't it? The pillars of American capitalism get cash infusions by the pallet. GM might now be more aptly termed "Government Motors." Even recreational boaters are skimming from the trough. So where's your stimulus package, dear reader? It may be a couple zeros short of the big money getting thrown at AIG et al, but Orlando rockers Gasoline Heart are offering up an album for download, totally free of charge!
Titled Cucumber Riot, the band's calling the record a "best of type thing," which, in this case, means a compilation of four songs from their first record, three songs from their most recent EP and three songs from their upcoming LP, Nostalgia Ain't What It Used To Be, due out June 23 on P is for Panda.
So much for the naysayers to the Radiohead business model. Download Cucumber Riot here.
