Vodka Company Asks Cat Power, David Lynch, James Franco, 39 Others to Share Dreams

Few things seem as personal as being allowed a peek into someone's subconscious, even if it's only for 42 seconds. But ONEDREAMRUSH, a promotional project from the New Zealand-based 42Below vodka, will let you do just that. Forty-two directors have signed on to create super-short films based on dreams they've had.

The talent associated with this project, which has already created buzz in Beijing and Cannes, comes from various backgrounds. Accomplished directors like David Lynch, Mike Figgis, Niki Caro and actor James Franco will be joined by film novices like indie songstress Chan Marshall of Cat Power and comic book author Grant Morrison. If the tripped-out ONEDREAMRUSH home page, trailer and early films are any indication of what's in store from the rest of this collaboration, we're in for a mind-bending 1,764 seconds.
